ESYO Concertino Winds & Percussion

Recognizing the need to provide a solid foundation for beginning wind and brass players aspiring to advance their ensemble skills, ESYO started Concertino Winds in 2016 featuring a woodwind and brass choir. Starting in 2019, the program will expand to include an introductory percussion ensemble.  Concertino Winds & Percussion musicians will engage in new and exciting repertoire. Ensembles will participate in 90 minute rehearsals for ten weeks culminating in a recital at the close of the session.

    Auditions not required. 
    Tuition: $275. Non-refundable after January 26th, 2020.
    School or private teacher recommendation required.
    Ideal for woodwind, brass, or percussion musicians in grades 5-8 who are comfortable playing NYSSMA level 2-4.
    Percussionists do not need to be proficient in both non-pitched and pitched percussion.

    10-week session from January 26 to April 5
    Meets on Sunday afternoons at Brown School: Woodwinds & brass from 3pm-4:30pm and Percussion from 2pm-3:30pm
    No rehearsal on Sunday, February 16
    Recital on April 5, 3:00pm, Bethlehem Middle School
