Paul Borrello || Percussion Teaching Artist at Proctors
Paul Borrello is a percussionist, specializing in drum set, vibraphone, marimba and piano. He studied music at the Berklee School of Music in Boston, received an Associates degree from Schenectady Community College, a Bachelors degree in music industry and a teaching certification from Saint Rose. Paul also completed a Masters degree in Music Education at Boston University in the fall of 2013. Paul has worked with notable musicians such as Maria Zemauntauski, Monica Roach (and Ten27), David Amram, Dan Dobek, Sten Isaachsen, George Muscatello, Peter Einhorn, Mark Dziuba, Mia Scirocco, David Gleason and many others. Paul currently performs on vibraphone in a piano-vibes duo with Brian Axford and also fronts his own quartet with Dan Dobek, John Savage and Mike Adamczyk. Paul has studied with Ed Saindon at Berklee School of Music, Jay Hoggard at Wesleyan, pianist Dan Dobek and Cliff Brucker. Presently, he teaches instrumental lessons at the Brown School in Niskayuna and the CHIME Program in upstate New York.
