Digital Media Specialist & Communications Support

Reports to: Executive Director
Status: Part Time; flexible hours; hybrid work environment

Summary: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Digital Media Specialist creates, design and executes all digital media campaigns for the organization; collaborates with the Communications Team to support daily communications needs such as e-blasts and provides digital assets for web and newsletter content.

Responsibilities:
  • Create/design/implement social media strategies: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
  • Monitor and optimize online performance data using analytics/insight tools.
  • Attend ESYO concerts and events as needed to capture digital assets for media campaigns and to support the Communications Team in generating content and collateral.
  • Use digital media expertise to support the organization’s creative needs, general operational activities and storytelling.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite to support Communications Team in the production of branded content & collateral.
  • Leverage ESYO’s website to develop and reinforce organization's mission and vision by creating content for social media platforms.
  • Assist with merchandise design, production, sales.
  • Assist with daily communications needs such as e-blasts via Constant Contact.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated professional experience in digital media, including social media strategy and digital storytelling.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and messaging platforms such as Constant Contact.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication to promoting youth musical arts.
  • Strong attention to detail, highly organized, process-oriented, proactive and ability to meet deadlines.
