ESYO Percussion

Whether you are just starting out or are an experienced musician, there is a place for you in ESYO's percussion music program. Explore the rich history of classical music and the vibrancy of contemporary percussion music. Meet, play, and collaborate with percussionists who are as passionate and dedicated as you. Learn from outstanding conductors, coaches, and international artists, while deepening your musical skills with challenging new repertoire. All this, while having some serious fun!

ESYO percussionists perform timeless masterpieces by beloved composers arranged for mallet instruments and explore a wide variety of contemporary masterworks composed for percussion ensembles. Members of Repertory and Youth Percussion Ensembles also perform with ESYO Classical ensembles.

To enroll in an ESYO Percussion, you need to complete an audition.

With 3 percussion ensembles suiting a range of playing levels, ESYO challenges you to excel, grow, and perform. An ESYO audition is not a competition, it's a process that helps ESYO conductors place you in an ensemble based on your musical experience.  There is a place for you!
