Brittanie Darling

Ensembles: String Faculty

Brittanie Darling is a dedicated orchestra teacher and violinist in the Capital Region with a passion for helping young musicians grow both in skill and confidence. She holds a Master’s Degree in Music Education from SUNY Buffalo State and a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from The College of Saint Rose. At SUNY Buffalo, she completed a master’s project focused on integrating composition and improvisation into the elementary string classroom.

 

She has more than four years of teaching experience in the Schenectady City School District and currently teaches elementary strings in the Shenendehowa Central School District. Brittanie also performs with the Delmar Community Orchestra, in pit orchestras for high school theater productions in the Capital Region, and on the worship team at Grace Fellowship and Redemption Church.

 

In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, rock climbing, hiking, and crocheting.
