Sarah Baker

Ensembles: Concertino Brass Choir

Sarah Baker has taught 5th-8th grade band at Bethlehem Central School District since 2019. Working with elementary bands and middle schoolers, she loves to foster the joy of learning in her beginning band students. Mrs. Baker graduated from the Crane School of Music with a BM in Music Education and a BM in Music Performance (tuba) in 2019, as well as an MM in Music Education in 2022. She studied tuba with Dr. Charles Guy and Mr. Michael Meidenbauer and participated in masterclasses with Canadian Brass and Phil Sinder. An avid performer, she is a member of the CRWE and plays throughout the Capital Region. She can attribute her love of music making and performance to her family and their brass group, Baker Brass. She is a proud alumnus of ESYO, having participated in the Repertory and Youth Orchestras in high school. She currently lives in Albany with her husband and cat.
