Cathy began with the ESYO family in 1979, and went to Ithaca College where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance for violin. She spent the summer of her senior year in Orlando as part of the Walt Disney World All American College Orchestra where she performed with musicians like Dave Brubeck, Rosemary Clooney, Toni Tennille, and more. After college, Cathy moved to Los Angeles and performed in many studio orchestras recording commercials and movie soundtracks.Today, Cathy is an active member of her community, and is very happy to be a part of the Yates Arts in Education Magnet School team.
