Aaron Zhang is a professional musician and educator residing in Schenectady, NY. They are primarily a saxophonist and can be seen performing regularly with the Capital District Wind Ensemble as the ensemble’s tenor saxophonist, but gigs regularly as a woodwind doubler. Aaron is currently a middle school band teacher in the Schenectady City School District and has many years of experience teaching with All Ears Jazz, a workshop for learning jazz and improvised music. They hold an AS in Performing Arts from SUNY Schenectady, BM in Music Education from Ithaca College, and MM in Music Education with a Conducting Specialization from Colorado State University.
