Symphony Orchestra Performs Elgar’s Cello Concerto & Romeo & Juliet

Sunday, April 03

3:00 PM

A famous love story as old as time and a portrait of Juliet, a thoughtful and self-reflective young woman. Etienne Abelin makes his ESYO debut at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall with Prokofiev’s Romeo & Juliet and Elgar’s ominous Cello Concerto with Eujeong Choi, the 2022 Lois Lyman Concerto Competition Winner.

Missy Mazzoli’s River Rouge Transfiguration sees America’s industrial past and present through the lens of music as Symphony Orchestra transforms “grit & noise” into a musical experience that is “resonant & unexpected.”

Take advantage of Access ESYO and pay what you can.

Your ticket purchase provides a stage upon which to perform and a platform for young musicians to share their music with the world. Tickets start at $1.
