Join us for an exciting Musical Adventure Along the Hudson with Empire State Youth Orchestra's Symphony Orchestra at Proctors Theater on October 16, 10:30am. This interactive performance features selections from Copland, Hendrix, Gershwin, and Bernstein and invites young audiences to join Ralph the River Rat in his quest to uncover the lost secrets of the Hudson through magical musical methods.  The 60 minute concert is most appealing to elementary and middle school age groups, and offers an entertaining introduction to the orchestra.

Greetings!

I am delighted to invite you to join the Empire State Youth Orchestra on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 for a magical performance featuring selections from Copland, Hendrix, Gershwin, and Bernstein.

Our young audience will be invited to join Ralph the River Rat in his quest to uncover the lost secrets of the Hudson through magical musical methods.  

Audience goers will be invited to participate in the journey, delighting in the antics, while at the same time learning about the impressive talent of these American composers. This humorous, educational and interactive performance is not to be missed!

As always, the program, which is appropriate for students in elementary and early-middle school, will include an introduction to the instruments and musical interactions with the orchestra.
