Jazz is the order for the afternoon as our Youth and Repertory Jazz orchestras take the stage at SUNY Schenectady Carl B. Taylor Auditorium.
Since music often reflects life and nature, the charts we'll be performing will be arranged in a way to reflect the musical image of the very beginnings of a stream, as it starts from a single raindrop or icemelt atop a mountain (the first unison pitch of 'Rainy Day'). It then grows into a trickle, and then a stream and as the water merges and eventually works it's way down the mountainside into a cacophony of white-water rapids that is WYRGLY.
