Welcome, everyone, to the final evening of ESYO's #SoundingTogether digital music festival. The first two nights offered outstanding performances by ESYO's percussion and Jazz ensembles, Concerto Winners, Wind Orchestra and the Concertino String Ensemble. Tonight, we will feature our youngest ensembles and most advanced ensembles: Concertino wind, brass and percussion and the digital world premiere of Ay Caray, composed by ESYO's very own Music Director, Carlos Agreda and performed, side-by-side, in a 360 virtual reality, by our Repertory and Symphony orchestras. Tonight’s performances are dedicated to the future of the arts, a future that our youth are building—right now. COVID-19 might have forced us to make music in a different way than in the past, but it hasn’t deterred our desire to keep sounding together.
